Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Janesville

If you are going to be in Janesville, this is a clean, comfortable place to stay on the river/ downtown. It is close to shopping/ bars/ restaurants/ coffeeshops. It is also right on the river, so you have access to the riverwalk. The rooms are spacious; they have a mini fridge and a microwave. The coffee provided in the morning is especially good. Just a note that the weekdays they only serve breakfast until 9am. There is a pool and a fitness center, but I did not use either ( they looked nice though). There is also a full service restaurant on site.

The hotel is really new and is a very good value. Much better location in Janesville than staying at comparable hotels which are located near the freeway; Cobblestone's downtown location is much better for my purposes.

I booked the King Suite for one night. Separate bedroom and living room areas was nice. Big comfy King bed with lots of pillows. Large fridge, sink and two-burner cooktop. Views of the downtown from the windows. This is the only hotel that I am aware of that is right downtown Janesville close to all the best bars, restaurants and shops this cute little town has to offer. I would happily return.

The room was perfect for our family of five as we were in town for a family wedding. We loved the daily breakfast, excellent coffee both in the room and downstairs, and the kids loved the pool. The room was very clean, beds were very comfortable, and the location right on the river was wonderful…enjoyed a beautiful walk and hike on an ice age trail right from the hotel. Very happy and would definitely stay here again.
